It’s real y’all! I got this in the mail today

If you missed it I completed my intensive coding Bootcamp on 12/18/2020, in a pandemic, while quarantining learning more about myself and the person I am blossoming into. I decided to stick to my timeline even though there were some hard bumps in the way. In my blog, I went into details of what occurred if you’d like to know! ⏩What am I doing? Well, on the job hunt, studying Algos & Data Structures, growing my network on Linked In! (Add me!) and building out this brand I set to create from the start and continue to help others in any way and shape or form that I can. Thank you for being present, for being part of my journey, for the encouragement, motivation and for allowing me to share it all with YOU. There was point in the program where I doubted the career change.

Doubted my own learning capabilities and fell rock bottom. A friend called “imposter syndrome” made several visits and I seemed to manage thru it.

So excited for this next phase!

Hi! 👋🏽

I survived my first month of coding bootcamp. Say what?!?

My coding program is divided in multiple stages that you move “on” as you pass each course. I was in the foundations portion which is exactly what everyone said and I now agree the HARDEST!

I shared 4 tips that I used while progressing thru my course.

•I reached out to graduate students and put it out into the universe that I needed help. I hired a tutor and found 2 mentors who took me under their wing.

• I can’t stress the importance of having an accountability group. Stress this the MOST! I’m very fortunate and for this I thank the universe and God daily 🙏🏼 my peers and friends. The love and care is so genuine it’s truly unlike no other.

• You don’t know it all and I don’t know it all and no one knows it all. Before you walk you gotta crawl. Go back to basics ⏪ Hit that rewind and go back to Day One.
